Hurricane Isaac Response
Project Description
As Hurricane Isaac approached Stennis Space Center in Mississippi in 2012, heavy rain began affecting electrical equipment at the site and a power failure became imminent. High Performance Solutions was called by NASA’s facility operating contractor to help locate a portable generator and move quickly before conditions worsened. The team secured a 750KW portable generator and had it onsite within five hours, even in the middle of a hurricane.
